Since being graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1975,    Dr Octave has enjoyed a distinguished career as a dentist and educator with numerous awards both in teaching and post-doctoral continuing education. 

Dr Octave has practiced, advanced, comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dentistry  in the Irwin area for over 32 years.  His credentials  include  teaching appointments as clinical associate professor of restorative dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry in Philadelphia .   Additionally, he has lectured for the PDA to dentists and other community organizations; and has authored several "table clinic" presenations at national meetings of the ADA.

 Dr Octave was a 1964 graduate of Jeannette High School and resides  in Greensburg with his wife Maryln of 37 years and daughters Gina and Lisa.
