- Dr. Sharcola D. Vaughn received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She then continued her dental training by completing a General Practice Residency at the University of Texas-Houston.
- Dr. Vaughn has been involved with missionary work in Peru, and continues to educate the people in her communities via health fairs and screenings. She is an active member of professional organizations such as: Georgia Dental Association, Georgia Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.
