Phyllis M. Ishida, DDS
Dr. Ishida has been practicing general dentistry in the Silicon Valley for over 30 years. She is a graduate of the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry where she is a Willard C. Fleming Scholar and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She is a member of professional associations including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Santa Clara County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and International Academy of Dental Research. Dr. Ishida is a member of local service and community organizations and is an active volunteer.
Amy Brown-Registered Dental Assistant
Amy is a Dental Major that goes to Foothill College. She has been working as a Dental Assistant with Dr. Ishida for 3 years. She recently got her RDA and will be going to school to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. She enjoys going to the Beach and loves spending time with her Pit Bull "Candy".
Cuqui Romo-Registered Dental Assistant
Cuqui has been in the Dental field for over 23 years. She has been working with Dr. Ishida for 3 years. She loves singing and dancing and enjoys cooking on her time off.
Karen Mock-Registered Dental Hygienist
Karen began working with Dr. Ishida in 1990 as her receptionist. In 1992 when Karen graduated from Foothill College with a Dental Assisting Degree, she became Dr. Ishida's assistant. Karen and Dr. Ishida worked side by side until 1996 when Karen earned a Dental Hygiene Degree and began practicing as a Dental Hygienist for Dr. Ishida. Karen and her husband Brian and daughter Emily love to spend time vacationing at Disneyland.
Enza Camero-Registered Dental Hygienist
Enza has been in the dental field for 17 years. She has had experience as a Dental Technician and spent a few years working as a Dental Assistant in an office specializing in IV sedation and hospital dentistry. She is currently a Registered Dental Hygienist and has been one for the past 8 years. Enza also has experience working in Periodontics. She feels passionate about her role as a Dental Hygienist and feels it was her calling. She is happily married with two children and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Debbie Condensa-RDH
Debbie graduated from Foothill College in 1996 with Karen Mock. Debbie has been with Dr. Ishida part time since 2010. Debbie's favorite part of the job is being able to interact with patients, making them feel comfortable and seeing their great smiles. Debbie and her husband Dave and two teenage children Ryan and Rachel and a dog "Koda" live in San Jose. She loves to read, hike, ski, take trips to their cabin in Tahoe and in general just being with family and friends.
Nancy Vargas-Financial Manager
Nancy began her career in 1993 as a dental assistant. She came to work with Dr. Ishida as her receptionist in 1996. Nancy is available to talk to you about your scheduling, finance and insurance questions.
Marisol Chavez-Patient Care Coordinator
Marisol has been in the dental field since 2008. She is newest member to Dr. Ishida's office, she began working with Dr. Ishida in July 2012. She loves working in the dental field because of the interaction with patients. She has been living in the Bay Area since 2002, she currently lives in Fremont. Marisol enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
