For Patients with Dental Insurance

Our practice accepts most dental insurance used by employers in the area. We will accept any dental insurance that allows the patient to go to the dentist of his/her choice. Please consult with your insurance company for restrictions, guidelines, and benefit information. *No HMO plans accepted*

Our goal is to maximize your insurance benefits and make any remaining balance easily affordable. As a courtesy, we will submit the insurance paperwork for you. We request that you pay all predetermined fees or estimated patient portions at time of service. When your insurance company pays us, any difference remaining will be your responsibility.

We have prepared this to help you better understand the complexities of dental insurance. We realize how confusing it can be. To begin, we would like to highlight a misconception - dental insurance was not designed to pay for all dental care. Most contracts have limits and or various degrees of co-payment and it is the responsibility of the member to know his/her individual plan as plans may differ.

Our fees are based upon a combination of our costs, our time, and our constant dedication to supplying our patients with the highest quality dental care. The treatment recommended by our office is never based on what your insurance company will pay but on the clinical findings; your treatment should not be governed by your insurance contract . Very frequently, insurance companies will disregard what we diagnose, in order to reduce benefits paid out on your behalf and increase their profits. Please understand that your best interest is our priority and we take it very seriously. We believe that you deserve the very best treatment available and we will always present you with all of your options. We will not compromise your treatment so your insurance company can save money.

However, it should be understood, that the dental insurance contract is between the insurance company and the patient, whom bears the ultimate financial responsibility.

We urge all patients to personally contact their insurance company to verify their dental benefits.  We cannot guarantee quoted benefits will be what your insurance company pays.
