DR.TOM GREEN,attended Trinity High School and Kiski School. He earned his B.A. from Washington and Jefferson College and his D.M.D. degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. The training at Tufts included rotations in the Tufts New England Medical Center, Boston Children's Floating Hospital, Boston City Hospital, and Chelsea Old Soldier's Home. After an Externship at the U.S.Coast Guard Station at Governor's Island, N.Y., and a Residency at West Virginia University, Dr. Green taught in the WVU Dental  School. While teaching Dr.Green became active in Sports Dentistry, and has continued both making mouthguards for, and doing work for, teams at West Virginia University, the University of Pittsburgh, Michigan University, University of Texas, U.C.L.A., and the Cleveland Clinic, and also for professional athletes.  He has taught an extensive Sports Dentistry Program at the Pitt University Dental School in 1994. Dr. Green is a member of the staff of Washington Health Systems (Hospital) and treats patients in the Hospital. He has run Children's Dental Health Month both Nationally and Locally, and welcomes children to his practice. Dr. Green performs counselling for nutrition and smoking cessation. He has completed course work at New York University in Cosmetic Dentistry and, as well as treating patients locally, has done some treatment on patients for a Broadway play.  Dr. Green is an active member of the American Dental Association,Academy For Sports Dentistry, American Cancer Society, United Way, and the local chapter of the Western Pa. Dental Society. He is also Board Certified by both the Northeast regional board and has been licensed in Pennsylvania ,Massachusetts, New York and West Virginia.   

     The staff who work in the office with Dr. Green subscribe to his philosophy of quality treatment in a friendly atmosphere. Dr. Green's office is a full service dental office emphasizing prevention. Besides teaching you how to best take care of your teeth, treatment includes all types of  general dentistry, including cosmetic  dentistry to help you look your best.  Dr. Green welcomes children as well as senior citizens to the office. The goal is to achieve a high standard of oral health regardless of age.
