MEET THE DOCTORS
Dr. Vivian Gong had six years of dental school study in Shanghai, China before coming to the United States. Soon after settling, she went back to school for dentistry at the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry in San Francisco to pursue dentistry in the U.S.. With her passion and dedication in the field of dentistry, she was soon awarded a Dental Honor Society Certificate and graduated with honors in 1997. She has been practicing dentistry in the Bay Area ever since. She strives for excellence and pays attention to details in her daily practice. She is currently involved with the Santa Clara Dental Society, California Dental Society and invests much of her time helping low-income kids get their dental needs met. Also, Dr. Gong currently volunteers in teaching young children at school about the importance of dental hygiene and presents fun dental facts that gets them inspired. Her true passion also lies in spending time with her loving husband and two beautiful girls. Our associate dentist Dr. Joy Huang has been with us since Feb. 2015. Dr. Joy Huang received her DDS from the University of California in San Francisco in 2004. She then completed a year of Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at University of Pacific in 2005. She also completed a year of residency in Taipei Municipal City Hospital in Taiwan. Before joining Dr. Gong's dental clinic in 2015, she practiced in the Peninsula and the South Bay. She also volunteered her free time in different organizations and schools to help educate the public on latest dental technologies. Dr. Huang has been an excellent addition to our practice and upholds the high quality of service that patients have had in our office with her positive and kind personality, as well as the gentle touch and care she has shown towards them. When not in the dental office, Dr. Huang likes to watch sports, travel, and spend quality time with her husband and two children.

MEET THE STAFF
Sumie & Chieko are our Patient Coordinators. Combined they have over 25 years of experiance in the dental field and are both very commited in providing excellant care to our patients needs. They both work closely with our patients' appointments and their interests about their dental treatment cases. With their knowledge and experience of insurance billing, they are able to assist each patient with any insurance questions. You can definitely count on these two to greet you with a smile and make sure you leave with a smile. Sumie speaks fluent Japanese and she is very knowledgeable with dental insurance. Chieko is also a Registered Dental Assistant with experience in general dentistry and periodontic surgery assisting. Malali, our Registered Dental Assistant, is the newest member of our family with experience in general dentistry and also oral surgery assisting. Malali is an excellent and efficient RDA who continues to grow and deliver a warm and caring atmosphere for our patients. Her knowledge and a willing to learn attitude is a great asset for our team and our patients especially when working closely with Dr. Gong and her staff. She is a very detail oriented professional RDA, that we can always count on to deliver the best patient care for our patients. With Malali by your side, you will always feel comfortable and at ease while getting your dental work done.
