Meet Dr. Foutz

Dr. Jacob Foutz grew up in the Rogue Valley and is very happy to have settled right back here after his schooling. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Southern Oregon University and then attended Oregon Health and Sciences University School of Dentistry to receive his DMD in 2015.  He has also participated in a Sleep Dentistry Residency at UCLA Dental School.

Some activities Jacob enjoys are, exploring the outdoors via mountain bikes, dirt bikes, off-road vehicles, rafting, and water or snow skiing and traveling with his wife and 3 children. He also enjoys exercising with his children and wife.

Dr. Foutz spent 2 years in Chile on a mission, serving people while learning their culture and the Spanish language. This has blessed his life and afforded him the opportunity to be a fluent Spanish speaker.

He believes he can help people improve their quality of life through dentistry and dispel some anxiety about coming to the dentist. Your mouth is the gateway to your body and oral health is intertwined with every other system in the body and should be treated with care. Dr. Foutz' kind and caring personality comes through in his dedication to provide comprehensive, thoughtful, and quality care to every person who entrusts him with managing their oral health care.

He is especially passionate about improving his patient's quality of life.  Whether it be helping people with sleep related breathing disorders through oral appliance therapy, ending pain or helping with a more beautiful smile.

Dr. Foutz is a member of a host of dental and medical associations and societies, including the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, and Southern Oregon Dental Society. He is always looking for ways to expand his learning and knowledge and keep on the cutting edge of technology to provide the most comfortable and highest standard of care in dentistry.
