Frequently Asked Questions

An essential element of our client relationship includes answering your questions. We want you to fully understand how our office functions, why we recommend particular procedures, and what your treatment plan includes. If you have a question for Dr. Patel or his staff please contact us.

Answers to our most frequently asked questions may help you understand more about our practice:

How long will treatment take?

Our cutting-edge procedures and technology offer decreased treatment and recovery times than previous dental methods. However, the amount of time you’ll need to schedule for dental work will vary depending on your course of treatment. Our goal is to always provide the highest quality dental care. To attain this goal, we will oftentimes schedule additional treatment time. In fact, we usually see fewer than six patients a day. This allows us ample time to serve you promptly with the focus and attention you deserve. We’ll have time to talk with you about the length of recommended treatments so you can determine how to fit your dental care into your busy schedule.

Will my treatment hurt?

Dental innovations have improved the quality and longevity of treatments. They have also reduced the pain associated with dentistry. The latest advancements in technology offer less sound, no vibration, and they are so gentle that patients rarely need sedation.

What does your practice offer to help me relax?

You will enjoy personalized, pampering care from the moment you call our office. Dr. Patel and his staff will take time to learn how you feel about dentistry. For many patients, our personal flat panel TVs take their minds off of treatment. For patients with severe anxiety, we can discuss oral sedation. We pride ourselves on pampering patients, so if you have a special request, please tell our front desk attendant and we’ll be happy to help you.

What do my insurance benefits cover?

As your dental care provider our primary goal is your optimal oral health. We base our treatment plans solely on what we honestly believe are the best solutions for your health. If you have insurance, our office manager will work to ensure that you receive the most from your plan. We’ll be happy to estimate your co-payment and file your insurance paperwork. The best way to approach dental insurance is to understand that it is most often a supplemental program and coverage may not include all procedures. For information about deferred, no-interest finance solutions, read about our Financial Options.

Please be prepared to pay your estimated co-payment at the time treatment is rendered. Our benefit estimates are subject to approval by your insurance provider. Your balance may change after your insurance company reviews the paperwork.
