MEET THE DOCTOR

 Richard J Klein, DDS

Richard J. Klein DDS is a 1980 graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. He entered private practice while continuing his training at the Misch Implant Institute at Pittsburgh Medical Center. Over the years he has developed his skills of advanced rehabilitation, implant surgery, laser dentistry and diabetic dentistry.

Dr. Klein’s protocol is analogous with the current standard of care which  mandates multi-disciplinary management of medical and dental conditions.  He is currently working closely with physicians on Long                                                                                                                                                          Island to elevate the level of care our patients receive.

The objective is to bridge the gap between the medical and dental communities to benefit patients and to partner with physicians in diagnosing and treating important medical diseases related to the presence of chronic oral infections – the “oral-systemic” connection.

Dr. Klein is a Diplomate of the American Society of Osseointegration and the  International Congress of Oral Implantology. He is also a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, the American Society for the Advancement of Anesthesia in Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Suffolk County Dental Society. He has lectured extensively throughout the United States and Europe on the topics of Implantology and the Oral-Systemic relationship.

This comprehensive and pragmatic approach to treatment is aimed not only at enhancing the patient’s oral health, but their total well being.
