Dr. Hurt enjoys outdoor activities and traveling in his limited spare time. His wife and he are very active in ocean kayaking and swimming in the summer while skiing and snowboarding are their winter sports. Their boys are in football and track with the oldest attending Palomar college. Their new endeavor is learning to incorporate yoga into their active lives. Dr. Hurt's wife has her Bachelors of Science in Psychobiology from UCLA and her MBA from California State University in San Marcos.

Interests
Jo recently moved to a high rise condo in downtown San Diego. She enjoys walking her dog while exploring San Diego's waterfront, downtown, and Balboa Park. She also enjoys reading, tai chi and yoga.
