Consultation

Your first visit is a consultation and with that first visit Dr. Cunico will conduct an oral exam and obtain dental and medical histories.If treatment with Invisalign is possible, Dr. Cunico and staff will explain treatment, answer your questions and provide you with an estimate of both the fees and the time required to complete treatment. At this time, we can also confirm ( if you have not already done so yourself )  your insurance coverage and estimate of benefits for Invisalign, if applicable. This consultation is normally done when a patient has finished his or her cleaning.

Diagnostic Records

When you have decided to pursue Invisalign treatment, we will need to collect diagnostic records to enable Dr. Cunico to complete his diagnosis and prepare a detailed treatment plan. The records include:

• Photographs
• Impressions of the teeth for diagnostic models

It takes about 30 minutes to obtain the records. There is a $300 fee for this service which will be applied to the treatment balance if patient choses to follow through with the invisalign treatment plan.

If you wish to get started with orthodontics as soon as possible, you may complete the diagnostic records during your initial visit. Please let us know if this is the case, so we can schedule the appropriate amount of time for your appointment.
